THIS IS A RELAXED PERFORMANCE

Ravioli Me Away invite you to experience The View From Behind the Futuristic Rose Trellis, a poetic, vivid and generous multimedia extravaganza.

Are you really here?

If you are, then how do you know you are?

Are you looking for confirmation in the eyes of the person sitting next to you?

Do they know you? And if so how do they recognise you?

Is it from your jacket? your hairstyle? your dependable moral compass, witty remarks or bad breath?

The View From Behind the Futuristic Rose Trellis enthusiastically sings and dances its way through inner and outer realities, sifting through its characters to reveal moments of golden clarity shared by all. Escape escapism through this vivid, witty-wry opera about greed, aspiration and freedom.

Written and performed by artists and musicians Ravioli Me Away (Alice Theobald, Sian Dorrer and Rosie Ridgway).

Songs Produced by Tom Hirst in collaboration with RMA. Featuring special performances and musical contributions from Dean Rodney Jr, Onyeka Igwe, Eothen Stearn, Siobhan Mooney, Dan Mitchell, Ben Waller’s, Scott Bradbury, Victor Jakeman, Patrick Moran and Kathy Grey.

What is a Relaxed Performance?

Ideal for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed performance environment – including those with an autism spectrum condition or learning disability.

What’s different?

– the lights in the audience will be up so that it’s not too dark
– you can make noise during the show
– you can come and go as you please
– small changes will be made to the lights and sound so that the performance is more accessible if you have sensory sensitivities.

There is also a general public performance on Sat 11 May at 7:30pm: BOOK GENERAL PERFORMANCE TICKETS

Seating is unreserved for all performances. We therefore advise all audience members to arrive at least 30 minutes before their performance begins so that they can find a seat. For disabled or access enquiries and bookings please call 01752 267131 as we must know of any access requirements before the show begins (due to the nature of the peformance and because it is unreserved seating)
