Our professional musicians and DJ’s will support you each day to  build your own sound whilst also introducing you to the world of music production, song writing, group composition and voice work. On your final day (Fri 3 Sep) you'll visit Granary Studios to record your own EP. Yes seriously!!
If you have instruments, song books, ideas or laptops/ tablets bring them along. If you need to use some of our gear, that's fine too!
Sessions are led by our expert ReBels Music practitioner team who have extensive experience and knowledge of all types of music creation, techniques and production (details  of or team below)

Pay What You Decide

This is a Pay What You Decide workshop, which means you can decide what you pay to attend. We have set a minimum of £15 per person per course which will cover just under half of the course leaders' fees. But if you can afford to pay a little extra to ensure we can continue to offer opportunities to young people, we would be extremely grateful. Similar courses in the Plymouth / south west area cost around £50 per day to attend (so this four day Music course would cost £200). There is no 'right' answer, we are not attempting to lead you to a specific figure. You can pay £15 per course or you can donate a little extra by adding an additional value in the donation box when you checkout.
Please click below to read about how you can ask for one of our Free Place bursaries available...
Free Places
We also have a number of bursaries (free places) for anyone for whom money is a barrier to them being able to join. There is no judgement and you'll not be asked to answer question after question after question.
If you'd like to chat (confidentially) about having one of our free place bursaries please email Suzie West at suzie@barbicantheatre.co.uk
