Have you ever wanted to learn how to perform a stage slap, unarmed brawl or sword fight for stage and film?

Do you have a group of friends who you want to choreograph a fight scene with?

Are you looking for an alternative way to stay healthy?

Play Fight class is an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Stage Combat in a light-hearted, community-focused fashion.

It does not matter whether you are discovering acting/stage combat for the first time or are a trained professional who is looking to maintain their skills, Play Fight class has something for everyone.

You are not required to have any previous experience to attend this class.

Tickets are £5.

Barbican Theatre ReBels members can attend for free but, we do ask that a small donation be given.

A bit about me & the classes...
Hi! I am originally from Barcelona where combined with Berlin I have done most of my training. I discovered and fell in love with tap dancing after studying and performing body percussion for many years. I have since played many concerts around Europe and the UK and seek to break down the perception of what the art form can be. You can find me performing with the local act 'Kid Hyena' which fuses a myriad of musical styles with tap dance!
The style I dance and teach is Rhythm tap which uses your feet like a drum kit. Originating in America, rhythm tap is tap dancing which focuses on the acoustic rather than the aesthetic. 
Stepping out of the conventional style, I use all sorts of music and tap moves to get your rhythmic and tap dance skills to a high level, whilst enjoying this truly amazing and fun performance art.
