This irreverent look at romance will resonate with anyone who has ever wondered: is this really all there is?
4 years ago, Riham embarked on a journey to explore what it means to love; what ideas do we have about it and what is holding her back from it?
Another Lover’s Discourse ليه خلّتني أحبك is Riham’s first solo performance created and performed by her. She mashes up interviews with friends, family and strangers, combining video, music, performance, and original film to explore the complexity of love and relationships.
This inventive new multimedia performance, from one of Palestine’s most exciting contemporary artists, invites you to think differently about love; to shake off stereotypes, free yourself from old traditions and think about what you actually want.

About Riham Isaac
Riham Isaac is a performance artist who brings together a range of practices — acting, singing, dancing, video and explores new mediums of live performance and multidisciplinary arts. Riham's practice reflects on what it means to be producing innovative artistic work in Palestine in the current moment. Her work is playful and a profound commentary on a wide range of pressing issues related to gender, politics, and arts.
Riham has extensive experience leading and creating artistic projects. In 2017, she co-directed The Alternativity with Oscar-winning Director Danny Boyle & Banksy which was featured as a programme on BBC Two. In 2016, she directed & produced I Am You, a multi disciplinary performance that toured Palestine, Sweden & Denmark. In 2014, she performed during Qalandia International Biennale 'Stone on Road’.
She is an MA Graduate from Goldsmiths College 2013 in Performance. She is also the Founder of ‘Art Salon’ which is an independent art space in the old city of Beit-Sahour and lectures at BirZeit University and Bard college.

Simon Clode
Simon is an Artist/Filmmaker/Video Designer whose work intercuts many disciplines, with interests lying in ethnographic, environmental and global political commentary. His films have screened in competition at BAFTA qualifying festivals such as Aesthetica Short Film Festival. He has been a video designer on numerous projects for national and international theatre and dance. Arts Council Wales supports his artist films with his most recent film installation showing at Palestine's contemporary Arts Festival Qalandiya International. He is currently one of the directors selected for the BFI Network X | BAFTA CREW 2021 program, as well as being a BFI Horizons recipient.
Faris Ishaq
Faris is a Palestinian Nay Master, Global Jazz Flutist and Composer known for his mastery of the ancient flute “Nay”. In today's modern musical landscape he is on a mission to unlock its maximum potential. While facing stigma often associated with its perceived limitations, he's been able to defy such expectations, performing in demanding idioms such as jazz and other world music traditions.
At the Panama Jazz Festival, Faris premiered his new solo performance and album entitled “NAY: Nature Addresses You”. The performance aims to strengthen the bond between humanity and nature, the call for self-discovery and reconciliation with oneself and sheds light on his performance on the Nay as a global flute, where he expands its performance from melodic to percussive and harmonic expressions. On top of that, while playing the Nay he accompanies himself by playing leg-percussion and frame drum simultaneously.

What is the seating like?
The seating in the raked area (rows A-O), the seating has arms. Seat - 17in/43cm Wide, 18in/46cm Long. Back - 20in/51cm Wide, 19in/48cm Long
Please get in contact if you do not think this seating will work for you and we can explore options.
If you are seated in 'the pit' (rows X & Y) the seats often do no have arms, they are not fixed seating and are added for each event with maximum 140 seat capacity.
