Are you looking for something exciting, new and fun to get stuck into in 2024? The Barbican Theatre are offering Adults courses as part of our ReBels programme. No experience necessary, these classes are a great opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people and challenge yourself to try new things in a safe and inclusive environment. 

 

Classes start Tuesday 16th January

Adults Acting and Improv - 10 week course

Tuesdays 5.30pm-7.30pm at Barbican Theatre

£6 per session / £60 block booking for 10 x week course /£100 for both Adult’s courses (saving £20!)

Unleash your creativity on stage! Join our Adults Acting and Improvisation course at the Barbican Theatre. Develop your confidence, communication and imagination, in our fun, creative sessions. This course welcomes everyone, no prior experience required. Meet new people and learn new skills from our experienced facilitators, in a pressure-free environment, at The Barbican Theatre. 

 

Dive into how to become a character, collaborating and improvising in a supportive, fun-filled environment. Discover your inner actor and let your imagination take centre stage!

 

Community Cabaret - 10 week course

Experience the thrill of cabaret performance! Join our weekly Adults Community Cabaret Workshops at Barbican Theatre where each week we’ll explore a different style of cabaret performance. 

Led by guest performers skilled in various cabaret styles, these workshops are your ticket to honing your performance skills and finding out how to bring cabaret to life. From mastering stage presence to perfecting song interpretation, stand up to storytelling, delve into the art of cabaret in a vibrant, supportive atmosphere. 

No previous experience necessary—just your enthusiasm and a willingness to embrace the spotlight. Step into the world of cabaret and let your unique talents shine!
