Have you ever wanted to make a 5 metre high puppet?
Ever wondered what’s involved and how you make it come alive?
Ever wanted to knock on a second floor window, whilst still walking at ground level?
Ever wanted to make music out of junk?
We are going to be taking a parade of 7 meter tall puppets around the back alley service lanes of St Judes on Thursday 10th September.
It’s all designed to be watched by local residents from their homes and back gardens, and is about bringing some magic to peoples gardens and doorsteps.
It’s a socially distanced performance.
Want to help make and puppeteer these giants?
What to help make smaller character puppets to keep the giants company?
Saturday 5th September: 10am – 5pm at Barbican Theatre SESSION NOW FULL
Sunday 6th September: 10am – 5pm at Barbican Theatre SESSION NOW FULL
Each session is socially distanced – you can only choose one workshop.
Workshop spaces are limited and will be booked on a first come first served basis. Spaces are open to all ages and we welcome families who want to come along and create / perform together.
