The Wheel will be launching the inaugural SeptemberFest at Barbican Theatre, this autumn.
A festival for new and emerging performance work, Septemberfest will kickstart the new season of theatre, training and performance at Barbican Theatre.
The Wheel are delighted to be supported by Barbican Theatre, who are keen to meet and see new emerging companies in the region. The Wheel are currently taking expressions of interest from companies and individuals who would like to be part of the festival. The festival will comprise of three evenings (Thursday 19, Friday 20 & Satursday 21 September 2019) featuring a mixed programme of theatre, dance, comedy, music, spoken word, musical theatre and more…
Pieces can be at various stages of development from scratch performances to more fully realised work. The Wheel are, predominantly, looking for short pieces between 5-15 minutes long, but also have some limited space to accommodate longer work.
