Join English Football legend and Sky Sports Soccer Saturday Pundit Paul Merson for a special ‘Evening With’ event this Spring

Paul will spend the evening telling us his fondest tales from their days in the Premier League, FA Cup, International Matches and Saturday afternoon’s in the Sky Sports studio. There will also be a fantastic opportunity for the audience to ask some questions of their own.

One of English football great personalities, it’s easy to forget what an incredible player Paul Merson was. Mainly known for his time as an Arsenal player, Merson played 423 times for the Gunners and scored 99 goals in all competitions. He also played for the likes of Aston Villa, Portsmouth, Middlesbrough and for England at Euro 92 and World Cup 98.

Merson twice won the English First Division (prior to the Premier League) as a Gunner also winning the FA Cup, League Cup, European Cup Winners Cup, English First Division (with Portsmouth) and UEFA Intertoto Cup (with Aston Villa). Paul Merson was named the PFA young player of the year in 1989 and Premier League player of the month in February 2000.

Paul was so open and honest. I thought some areas would be off limits but he could not have been more revealing or amusing about his colourful career.

Matthew Pick, BBC Television South West

Paul is one of the most fascinating speakers I have worked with. His stories are interesting and entertaining and he delivers a great evening for the audience.
