King Sandbox present a very special acoustic evening at The B-Bar this August.
Featuring performances from:
Odd-Dogs, an indie pop band based in Bristol. All Original music mixing up the happy catchiness of modern pop with a sad boy indie twist, resulting in some melancholy sass.
The Small Union, a Country and Americana inspired duo hailing from Plymouth UK comprising Singer/Songwriter Zoe Millar and Guitarist/Songwriter Nick Western.
Jordan Bussell, an independent artist from close to the middle of nowhere in the Southwest of England with a dark and powerful style of song writing that, as Sarah Gosling of BBC Introducing Southwest describes it, “seems to capture the wilderness she grew up in”. She is a jack of all trades musician, as well as a sound engineer, she writes, performs and produces all of her work.
and King Sandbox, a lo fi, sub pop, grunge trio stripping back their usual wall of sound and fuzz infused riffage for a more immersive and subtle acoustic showpiece which highlights the sensitive side of their song writing and melodic sensibilities, akin to the classic 90’s MTV unplugged era; think Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Stone Temple Pilots etc.
£5 on the door, cash or card. Please book early to avoid disappointment by calling the B-Bar on 01752 242021 and booking a table.
