Celebrate the start of summer at Forked with poetry, music and circus. Join us for an evening of holiday-themed performances and sunny celebrations.

Singing My Mother’s Song

By Rebecca Tantony and Dominie Hooper

A poetic and musical journey which explores geography and belonging, the roles of men and women within family narrative, ancestry and healing.

Rebbeca Tantony ‘mesmerising’ – The Guardian. Rebecca has read her work on BBC Radio Four. She’s the author of collections Talk You Round Till Dusk (Burning Eye, 2015) and All The Journeys I Never Took (Burning Eye, 2017).

Dominie Hooper is a singer, cellist and theatre musician. Dominie uses sound, words and movement to create her work.

Jackie Clementines will be bringing circus skills and thrills. Expect a combination of high impact circus and hilarious audience interaction from Jackie’s silliness manifesto show.

Tickets

Pre-booked tickets can be collected from the Box Office at The B-Bar from 1 hour before your performance starts, unless you have opted to have them posted (for an additional charge of £1 per order at time of booking) Tickets can also be bought for that day's performance from the box office from 1 hour before performances begin (subject to ticket availability) Not all events in the B-Bar have tickets that can be pre-booked.
