FORCE Arts Leadership

Be an arts leader...

FORCE is our training programme for aspiring arts leaders (aged 18+) to develop skills in dance or theatre facilitation and teaching, technical production or arts management. FORCE members receive accreditation through Arts Award.

Our next FORCE open evening is Thursday 17 October 2019 7pm - 8:30pm at Barbican Theatre.

At the open evening you'll have the chance to meet our core team and practitioners,chat through what you'd like to achieve and hear about plans for the FORCE Arts Leadership year long programme.

Register to attend the FORCE Open Evening on Thursday 17 October 2019:

Tech FORCE

Tuesdays 4 - 6pm (term time)

Train in technical production and stage management with our experienced Production Manager Jamie Smith. Learn technical skills in lighting and sound, and gain hands on experience as a technical assistant with professional companies.

Theatre FORCE

Wednesdays 5 - 6pm (term time)

Receive quality leadership and facilitation mentoring from our team of practitioners, led by our skilled theatre practitioners. Learn how to structure and deliver workshops combining technical and artistic content and find your feet in the arts industry as a theatre practitioner.

Dance FORCE

Tuesdays 5 - 6pm (term time)

In depth leadership training with our experienced Dance Practitioner Suzie West. Training covers legal requirements, marketing and how to structure and facilitate dance workshops, combining technique and artistic content.

Arts FORCE

Mondays 5:30 - 6:30pm (term time)

Share your artistic ideas and make them happen. Develop skills in arts management and marketing through working on scratch nights, festivals, and events, mentored by our experienced Creative Producer Dan Baker.
