Pay What You Decide FAQ

Any show labeled as Pay What You Decide (look out for the logo, shown at the bottom of this page) means you don’t have to pay until after you have seen the show!
Why Pay What You Decide?
We want to encourage more people to come and see shows, more often. Pay What You Decide not only allows you to pay what you can afford, rather than a fixed ticket price, but also removes the risk of buying a ticket for a show in advance without knowing whether you are going to enjoy it or not.
Do I need to book a ticket?
Yes, if you’d like to make sure you can watch the show please book tickets in advance as usual. These tickets will be booked at no charge as there is no obligation for you to pay until after you have seen the show.
When do I pay?
After you have watched the show, you will not be asked to pay when you book your tickets.
How do I pay?
You will be handed an envelope when you arrive at your performance with details of how you can ‘pay what you decide’ at the end of the show, either by cash, card or via our website.
How much should I pay?
That’s really up to you! Though if you want a little guidance, similar shows often charge between £12 and £8 per ticket.
Do I have to pay anything?
No! You can decide on a price which you think is suitable based on your experience, which means if you haven’t enjoyed it at all, you don’t have to pay anything.
