Shannon is currently studying Dance at Plymouth Conservatoire, training in Contemporary Dance as well as collaborating with other art forms. She is predominantly trained in Contemporary, Commercial and Hip Hop as well as acquiring skills in Jazz, Tap and Ballet to assist her dance training.
Throughout her training, Shannon has always been passionate about inspiring others to become more involved in the arts and to help make a difference within the community. She believes that there is no ‘wrong’ way of dancing and enjoys utilising everyone’s strengths and styles when choreographing to create something unique and enjoyable. A lot of her movement is generated by solo improvisation, specifically focusing on and challenging the body’s ability to fully rotate and extend with the assistance of gravity, inspired by Charlotte Eaton’s teaching during her time at Plymouth Conservatoire.
