Charlotte is a Theatre Practitioner, Maker and Director based in Plymouth. She has a particular interest in movement and music and has many years of private voice (song) training. Alongside facilitating theatre workshops for young people, Charlotte works as a Theatre Practitioner with Access Theatre, an inclusive theatre company based in Launceston. Charlotte has previously studied and worked in Sweden, where she obtained an Associate Degree in Education Studies (focused on Drama Pedagogy). While living in Sweden she worked with both schools and arts organisations to deliver theatre workshops.
Since moving to Plymouth she has obtained a First Class BA (Hons) in Theatre and Performance from the University of Plymouth. She graduated from Theatre Royal Plymouth’s Lab Company scheme in 2019. She was Assistant Director on TRP’s Young Company show The Sad Club written by Luke Barnes and Directed by Tom Nicholas. She, along with fellow Lab Company graduates Florrie Taylor and Daniella Sanderson, were recently supported by Doorstep Arts to begin the development of a show for young people. She often works in collaboration with local writer Fynn Roberts as the duo Krans&Fynn; they are currently developing a new show.
