Caitlin is a musician, writer and theatre maker. She graduated from Plymouth University in 2018 with a BA Hons degree in English and Creative writing. During this time she received the Plymouth Award and was voted Disability Officer for the Students’ Union.
Caitlin first started with the Barbican Theatre as a Rebel in 2020, taking part in music and theatre sessions and mentored by Alex Hart.
She recently graduated from the Theatre Royal Plymouth’s Lab Company as a writer and music composer for Bottled Antic’s sold out show, ‘Shift’.
Caitlin has researched on behalf of local art organisations such as WonderZoo and Visual Arts Plymouth. Now, Caitlin is a mentor for the Barbican Theatre’s Flourish programme and an assistant practitioner at the Theatre Royal Plymouth.
Among her achievements, Caitlin was nominated for the final three of Plymouth Laureate of Words, alongside Jon Nash and Laura Horton. She was one of four musicians to win an opportunity to create a music video as part of the Under the Bridge project with Fotonow. Caitlin was also recently the runner-up in the South West heat of the UK Unsigned singer-songwriter competition.
Caitlin regularly performs her own original poetry and songs and also performs as part of a duo alongside Jon Fazal.
